Always great to see creativity in our business – good luck geeks!
You might think the only place you’d see food infused with Jager is on a sidewalk at 4 AM. You’d be wrong.
Monday I had the unique experience of tasting “Jagermeister-kissed Chicken Skewers,” “Black Cherry and Jager Baby Back Ribs,” Ribeye with “Jagermeister-Balsamic Glaze” and “Jager Roasted Garlic Butter.” All of these adventurous dishes were created by New York celebrity chef Chris Santos, judge on the Food Network show “Chopped.” There were creative craft “Jager Cocktails,” as well as a sneak preview of the new Jager Spice (tasted great in the post-dinner coffee!) Until sampling this creative fare, I considered Jager to be much like Karaoke – not appealing unless you are already inebriated. But Chef Santos managed to change my take on this 500 year old liqueur with his ingenious Jager-based dinner. The Spice flavor is Jager’s first new flavor in its history and is sure to be a big hit. So was the “Jagermiester-spiked Molton Chocolate Cake” we had for dessert. Cheers! — TimTheBarGuy
In Chicago, Austin, New York, and Washington DC, every single sushi restaurant sampled sold mislabeled tuna.
Interesting. What to make of this speculation about restaurant lobster pricing?
Food for thought on restaurant reviews and our changing customer expectations.
