I thought this video interview of online marketing strategist Perry Marshall by Tanya Benedicto Klich of Entrepreneur Magazine was helpful in showing how to decide if Facebook or Google is the best fit. For my restaurants and bar clients we always do both, but as you can see from the video Facebook is usually going to be a great fit for hospitality businesses.
In a study by Google in August of 2012, researchers found that not only will users judge websites as beautiful in less than a second, but also that “visually complex” websites are consistently rated as less beautiful than their simpler counterparts.
So the old school restaurant principle “Keep It Simple Stupid,” has relevance in the online age!
